Three pictures here show how the bow ramp was/is used.
HMS Boxer, one of just three fast (18 kts) LSTs, with its bow ramp extended on Salerno beach in September 1943. Although faster than more numerous LST(3)s, which appeared on the right, it took 13 minutes to extend the ramp at worst.
The USN's LST-1179 Barnstable County in Nordbynes, Norway on 1st March 1981 during the NATO exercise Cold Winter.

How abt ST designing something like a larger roofed RPL that can carry around8-10 MBT solely for MBT transporting type of ship?

If the LCAC can fit into the LSTs.
I think a similar local version like the tiger will be the easiest solution. -

Already the MBT nay-sayers are questioning whether the MBT would survive in the local mud, and we want to try putting it the water with all the easy sand?
If the MBTs do come in from the LSTs, its gonna be sent int on barges or at least unloaded to a temporary pontoon pier.
