I tripped over one before on a navex, then I got ambushed. I promptly shouted contact and took cover.Originally posted by Rockhound:would planting a tripflare on a tree trunk be called an IED?...i pity the guy who'd walk right past that trunk...
Strictly speaking, the tripflare is a form of mild explosive device so it can be considered to be an IED. However, I don't see how effective it can be as it can at most burn 1-2 soldiers and probably temporary blind 1-2 sections. Its more suitable for use at the begining of night ambush.Originally posted by Rockhound:would planting a tripflare on a tree trunk be called an IED?...i pity the guy who'd walk right past that trunk...
