It will die like the defunct Discovery Centre. Why only exhibit ex-RSAF ??
We should acquire foreign aircraft to enlarge the collection like the french museum in LIMOGES which aquired our A4. If no funds, just close the stupid place and put ex-army stuffs will be a better idea. Keep polishing only and how to become a top regional museum?
Should acquire vintage MIG17/19, SABRE F86, MYSTERE and the latest decommisioned MIRAGE 4 (if you can ask Marie- Allor for one piece) or TOMCAT if really want to attract more visitors and regional tourists. Those MIGS could easily get them from Eastern European countries (ex-Warsaw) or even Vietnam for MIG19/21s. Think they will be happy to get rid of them
Remember in the early days, we were in possession a hangar in Seletar full of JAVELINS. SEAVIXENS, VAMPIRE and BELVERDERE (forthrunner of Chinook) and even on Ex-Vietnam DAKOTA (ended in Sentosa). We are not ready for the vintage, pple here only evolves around RSAF ....
Well it is called RSAF muesuem so naturally it will only have ex RSAF aircraft on display.
