  no wonder. i was having lunch at boat quay sometime last week and heard something that sounded so much like a low flying chinook passing over numerous times but i thought it might be a boat or a helio owned by the CEO of those banks or fullerton hotel.

  looking at the pic again it does look like the bird was hijacked by some terrorist and was preparing to ram it into esplanade or merlion or maybe even the future IR site.

  CH-47SD.
  
  It's not exactly the best Chinook model that we have, but it's the newest version.
  
  Most other nations are using CH-47D.
  
  There is a Spec Ops capable MH-47.

  about time that aircraft does something more than trooplift, underslung and parajump operations.
  
  the chinook can hit water, but it whether our pilots can even do it or not.
  
  but being SAF, everything also scared.
