Found another one... (in original Singapore Air Defense Command colors, last aircraft).
There's a bit of a tragic story behind this particular aircraft. Originally in service with the RSAF, it was sold to Jet Fighter Flights, based in Bankstown, Sydney where it was used to give short adventure flights to paying passengers. Registered as VH-AKY, it was involved in a fatal crash in October 2006 when its right wing separated during a simulated dive bombing run, causing the aircraft to lose control and crash with 2 fatalities, one of which was a paying passenger whose family had given him the flight as a gift for his 50th birthday, the other was the owner of the flying facility.
Here are some other shots of it in happier days. Beautifully restored and with original military registration of 315.

I have seen a pic of an aerial shot of all the participants of a 'pretty old' FPDA (think was in the late-70/early-80s) and the USAF even sent 2 Eagles! Let me search through my aviation books.... -

Note: A-4s lack IFR probes. -
Wah, a blast from the past. There are hardly any pics of the Hunter inflight that are readily available. Now to find one of the T33.

somehow i got a feeling those are not our F-5s.... malaysia also operates F-5E as well as F-5F.

I just bought this locally published book on the RSAF plane types titled "Lions of the Sky" from Kinokuniya @ Taka. It is a paper-back book detailing on the history (eg, why the T-33 was bought and I didn't even realised the RSAF operated the Jet Provost besides the Strkemaster! etc) type of planes used by the RSAF from 1965 to current (including the SH and the Eagles).Originally posted by lyzzard:... There are some interesting pics esp gliders/propelled planes to unique pics on the grey-coloured A-4s (with the original RAF-style roundel) and a pic of 2 Hunters inflight. There is even or perhaps the 1st shot of a camouflage EC-120 Colibri in camo colours but with civilian registration numbers.
Don't expect to find pics of exotic weapons or even detailed breakdown of the weapons carried by each sub planes eg, the F-16 Block 52 D+ etc. But insighfull book on the planes used but the $12.90 price tag for the book is slightly too much given the very thinness of the book. -
