I've havent played crusader but i have played the original. The original's economy system was a lil bit tedious for my taste. Very long process just to get something simple like bread.Originally posted by Diesel_Dimension:Stronghold crusader..
where u don't focus on the army but economy instead..your army is much dependent on economy..
Oh yeah! Falcon 4 Allied force. Set ur mk82s to pickle in pairs and ripple pulse of 3. After that jsut watch the bomb fall... really cooL!Originally posted by SingaporeTyrannosaur:Neat stuff...
They don't make good flight sims like they used to. I remember Jane's ATF Gold as so much fun it is a crime they didn't make more games like it. Nowadays we get the more dumbed down "military" shooters that are more common. I miss the days of dropping MK82 Air Seven packs on tanks.
i have the strike commander CD.. SAD IT CAN'T RUN ON WINXP!!! >.<Originally posted by footprints:Strike commander was quite good too.

Free game that runs on quake or unreal engine (I forgot which, but the download is 2.5 gigs ), you go for courses to gain access to missions (the darn airborne qualification is hellish, you need to execute a night jump into a circle about 3 meter wide using a static line with limited manueverability). Once qualified you can play various missions online with others (standard CS style: 2 teams - Offence or Defence). The game was created by the US army in order to appeal to teenagers to help recruitment
Empire at Wars... ugh.. that game gives me queasies... It's so arcade like. Practically no strategy beyond out building your enemy and strategic placement.Originally posted by Bontakun:Battlemech, Battlefield all versions, General Chaos, Star Wars: Empire at Wars...
