Israel does it again: Israeli shelling kills 18 in Gaza

At least 18 Palestinians have been killed and 40 wounded by Israeli tank fire in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, Palestinian sources have said.

Palestinian officials said a barrage of tank shells hit civilian homes, and women and children were among the dead.
Israel has expressed regret for the civilian deaths and says it is investigating the incident.

According to an Israeli from WAFF this shelling is the result of counter artillery on a launch site of Qassam rockets into Israel by the Palestinians. But they made a mistake and missed the target by around a hundred metres, thus causing this tragedy.

hmm.... sometimes i really feel quite sad for those Palestinians. But somehow i seem to have the mentality that Israel is the good guy while palestinians are the baddies. Perhaps its media influence? Some major US news network are controlled by jews...

The way to look at it is to view both sides with contempt. No, I have greater contempt for Israel because they hide behind a veneer of respectability and legality.
I hope Israel continues to ciolate lebanion airspace and interfere with UNIFIL and I hope the french troops forget their restraint and accidentally shoot down an israeli jet. -
agree with scab... israel is hiding behind its media image of being the good guy... i seriously hope that sometime Israel will get a kick in the butt...
