if don't have can build mahOriginally posted by tankee1981:The last time i heard about RSS Courageous in MN is that it have been replaced or fully repaired. But personally i think they are operating with one less PV as compared to before the tragedy.
BTW does, SAF have a military cemetry or something for those who died while on duty?
Memorial idea is likely but i think it will be disrespectful to the dead sailors should it be used as a teaching tool. Afterall they never found some of their bodies and the broken ship is what is left of everything.Originally posted by molgax:assemble the shell and put it some where as a memorial ?
or for naval studies at some poly ?
aiyo. why so kiam siap. must build memorial like the USS arizona one mah.Originally posted by Vilya:there is sort of a memorial at the changi training base.. the whole stretch of path where the school faces the sea is called the courageous walk.
Reason is simple...RSS Courageous is nowhere near the size of USS Arizona...Originally posted by ah_kwang:aiyo. why so kiam siap. must build memorial like the USS arizona one mah.
yeah it will take over 1million Courageous to build ArizonaOriginally posted by tankee1981:Reason is simple...RSS Courageous is nowhere near the size of USS Arizona...
so its still better to use courageous as a target for missile tests and exerciesOriginally posted by molgax:yeah it will take over 1million Courageous to build Arizona

lol, of course, Courageous is not the only ship. Besides, there are other PV/APV ships, as well as MCMV ships that are under Coscom command.Originally posted by ah_kwang:so without courageous COSCOM is still functioning alright?
there is no such thing that we will die if short of one ppl... same as for ships...Originally posted by ah_kwang:so without courageous COSCOM is still functioning alright?
