The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) is taking part in an artillery exercise at the Devlali Field Firing Range, about 200 km northeast of Mumbai, with the Indian Army (IA).
Held from 6 to 19 Oct, this bilateral exercise marks the first time the SAF's national servicemen are training with the IA.

Shillong: Indian Air Force would undertake a joint exercise with its Singapore counterpart at its Kalaikunda airbase in November 2006.
During the nearly three-week long exercise in India, Singapore Air Force would bring eight F-16s and other aircrafts, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Eastern Air Command (EAC) Air Marshal F H Major said here.
IAF would put in place a number of its aircrafts depending on the parameters and other criteria, the AOC-in-C said on Tuesday.
The Singapore Air Force was scheduled to arrive at West Bengal's Kalaikunda airbase governed by the EAC on November 2, he said.
