Will SAF branched out into mercenaries?

For our Police, they already branched out to CISCO and AETOS. How about our Army? Does it make sense or cents?

Nowadays, you noticed there's a surge in CISCO and AETOS taking over normal police's work. For example those mass runs or marathons, escorts for commercial heavy vehicles, traffic handling at expo on sundays and so many more. Companies pay to get their service. And our normal police will get to hold their resources for normal policing to the public. Seems fair enough, but...
CISCO and AETOS mission statement is not to the state. But are owned by government linked companies (GLC). Go figure. -
Well this is one good way to ensure a health revenue stream for providing security...
Not mercenaries, but maybe defence contractors that will bid for UN mission. Lowest bidder get the job and sent ex-servicemen to do the job... -

Private Military Companies (PMC)? Also can contract to protect SG asset oversea, like in Thailand. Heard that it has loss $2m in value since HC bought it
