I have no idea how to describe or even illustrate the mental image that is projected with Sar-21's scope, kinda impossible to do that with 2-Dimensional screens. Its like getting 2 images at the same time, one with the 1.5 optical power which one part of ur brain is processing, and the other the normal FOV. I guess you can say, we humans had the first duo core processors to begin with.

Think you just have to focus on the "shooting eye" which is the one you are viewing through the scope. Sort of like, when you are glancing to your sides. Thus you can filter out whats appearing in the non-aiming eye. Anyway, compared with closing the non-aiming eye, leaving it open increases ur situation awareness

Those variations brought up by TS.. i think when SAR 21 was introduced in 1999 those variations were also introduced also..
till now.. i still see none of it being used in official capacity.

Good is that the the legislation finds it too dangerous in private hands, why can Steyr Aug can and SAR-21 can't ?

I agree that the current SAR-21 is not a good product for the SAF. A better system [b]would have been the Sar-21 carbine in the first place. No, useless LAD, just a good reflex sight.[/b]
on the question on whether you can tape 2 magazines together to help in quick reloading. Of course can (the theory is the same), but not advisible, only at the mid of the mag... thus making the overall combo length very long.
and MOCA, it takes more than just a scope to be a qualify sniper. Shooting dead or stationary objects is one thing. Shooting distant and moving targets is another.. estimating speed of target, wind directions and velocity, gravity projection, and altitude is a highly knowledge based skill.. in the quick succession. -
