For those whose coms can support Google Earth, its a must try. Can see inside air bases to see what's going on!
My personal recommendation is Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, aka the Boneyard, there you will see heaps and heaps of old aircrafts dumped there, minus some of their parts. Saw a lot of B-52s, F-111s, F-14s, A-4s.
Also take a look at Hickam Base, Beale Base, for the latter, you will see U-2s and at least 1 TR-1.

Check out Pearl Harbour nearby to Hickams Airforce Base on Hawaii. Can still see that it is a naval base today, and the ships are aligned like they were in WWII around Ford Island. Check out the Chinese South Sea Fleet based at Zhanjiang (on the mainland opposite Hainan Island).

To say that Davis-Monthan is mind-boggling is quite an understatement, I'm still exploring this really huge grave-yard.
