gurkha's uniform is different from the usual SAF army uniform. this trooper can easily be identified by his uniform, skin colour and facial features. notice that gurkhas r nepalese n they tend to look like burmese (that's wat i feel).
i have seen enuff gurkhas to confirm that this is a gurkha as well.

I wonder whats the job of gurkhas
moca
Definitely Gurkha.
I recognise the SBO and cap from those Gurkha I met in Ubin.
Basically there were scattered groups of threes or fours of these people hiking. They were unarmed, wearing the DPM trousers, boots, SBO, cap and shirtless!
At first I thought they were Mat punk rockers on a hike. They look no older than sixteen.
Or Bruneians NCC cadets.
The jockey cap really threw me off for, like everyone, I thought they wear the folded hat or jungle hats.
When I saw a second similarly dressed group I got curious and asked them where they are from and they said Gurkha.
The uniform is British DPM. It is worn by our Gurkha but also by the Bruneians. Malaysia doesn't wear British DPM.
LazerLordz
Correct, the RBAF wears this DPM. I used to see them at lunch at my old camp.

Actually, does anyone see a kukri?

I don't see a kukri. Anyway, M'sia's are wat I call tiger stripes. If I had to guess, I'd say Brunei army.

It's confirmed to be British jungle fleck DPM. The Bruneian troops wear it and I saw it everyday in camp then.
