OTH radar systems

  Does Singapore possess OTH(Over The Horizon) radar systems? This kind of radars have very long range detection capabilities for a ground based system. Yes we have the E-2C but there may be a chance that they are being shot down during war so the OTH radar can complement the Hawkeyes(or its future replacement) and will be a good form of back-up as well.

  I have seen an antenna farm at a place before so i was wondering if that is OTH radar or some ELINT equipment.

  are you refering to somewhere in kranji.....off neo tiew rd? that is actually BBC relay station if that is the case.

  i don't think he can misidentify those antennas as OTH systems. i mean it's quite obvious with the identity splashed all over the place

  Yes, i know that it belongs to the BBC. I am refering to another site which i think is best not to be mentioned here. Its situated at a coastal region near the borders of Singapore which leads me to suspecting that its a form of OTH radar system. Of course another possibility could be that its an ELINT and/or radio communication listening post (is therea proper name for this?).

  To be honest i can't remember how it looks like for sure because i have only seen it only for a brief amount of time and it have been some years back already. But i am quite sure where it is situated in Singapore.
  
  I don't think the one which i have seen is that big as shown in the pic though. This is because there is this gate at the lower left hand corner, the one i have seen is definitely not as tall.

  If it looked like the one below, it's a High-Frequency Direction-Finding site which picks up electronic emissions from ships and pinpoint their position by triangulation.
