The United States has given its nod over the sales of 66 F-16C/D Block 52s for at least 100 billion Taiwan dollars (3.1 billion US).

Now we just have to wait for the expected PRC strong response, won't be very long i supposed.
How are the PRC J-10 and the Su-27 and Su-30 compared to the ROC BLK 52 F-16 C/D?

The US Sells Taiwan the planes and take orders for the ordinance but do not deliver the Missiles e.t.c. . They will do that only if the PRC starts massing forces for a conflict. Really crappy deal. This is why The ROC has developed their own Missiles to work with the F-16s
Singapore gets the best of what the US has to offer, the US does not screw around with Singapore but since The ROC has virtually no place to buy from, the US takes a lot of unnecessary advantages. -
i think USA did it because China didn't want them to sell PRC any stuff.

Actually the US wanted to withold the AMRAAMs we bought as well. Their policy of not introducing weopon capabaility to a region. Taiwan is slightly different animal with the US still trying not to offend China too much. -
if i remember correctly, their Mig-29 deals didn come with AMRAAMskis initially. Upon delivery, they had to send it back to be refurbished with new avionics etc + strengthening the wing in order to carry the AMRAAMski.
