how is it waged nowadays? from the old colonial days, dumb brits and yanks march towards each other while their comrades drop onto the ground
world war 1 where the 2 groups people dig into the ground and shoot at each other (which is convienent because you don't need to bury people )
world war 2 the introduction of SMGs allowed house to house fighting while arty blows the crap out of town
gulf war, no more bolt action rifle with the introduction and modification of the german STG44.. fighting now takes to the street with company of less than 50 men to achieve a objective
so if a war takes place in singapore, how will the SAF engage the enemy? -
blow them up from the sky and roll over them on the land

Don't you know? We have a nuclear bomb buried in a subterranean chamber somewhere. If Singapore is invaded we'll blow the whole island up and leave nothing for the would-be invaders to stand on.

Full urban combat.. door to door.. building to building.. public toilets to underground carparks...
attacking forces will suffer so much casualties n humiliation they will WTF n just flatten n blow up SG , bombard it.. flatten it... n fudge the infrastructure.

It's very hard to fight a war in Singapore! Say we place a sniper on everybuilding, they will have a freaking time ti find the sniper! Say the fight is in the CBD area, where there can be many ambush laid out for the enemy! HAHA!@ I tell you, the enemy would rather bomb the whole island flat then take it house by house, which may take a few years, given the number of high-rise buildings in singapore.
