Standardisation of magazines

I think it will be an disadvantage as the other current infantry weapons such as the Ultimax 100 nd the M-16-M203 combo are unable to accept the plastic magazines of the newer SAR-21.
What we can do is to modify the newer Ultimax100 Mk4 variant to be able to accept the plastic magazines and to change the M-16-M203 to the newer SAR-21-M203 combo. This way we can interchange magazines easily during the heat of battle. Comments?

Don't think anyone will disagree with you. The question is ARE they actually going to do it? And how long will they take to get about to doing it.

Come to think of it there is another way to do this too. We can all use the M16 magazine since we already have lots of them. This form of magazine is commonly used in the ASEAN region so should we go to war we can use the enemies magazines!
We can make all the SAR-21 being able to accept M16 magazines including the SAR-21-M203 combo. -
Actually, I think some of the M16mags we have can be thrown away or rather should be thrown away.
I do like the transparency of the SAR21 mags, altho the ironic thing is that on the M16 (if it could be interchangable) it would be a lot more effective since you just have a quick glance down to see how many rounds you have left instead of down and backwards as in the case of the SAR21.
Best they redesign the SAR21 to accept both type of mags (which might be impossible) or redesign the SAR21 to accept M16 mags and come up with an M16 mag that is transparent. So that we can use on SAR21s, M16/M203s and Ultimaxes.
