There's something I caught since the planes keep flying over my work place.
The F-16s emit a much louder and higher pitch whine and a louder sonic boom. -
Err. i dun see any ECM pods in the above pic. Ecm pods eg. ALQ-131s are carried on the centre hard point. In the pic, its an external fuel tanks.
Those "sidewinder" lookin things are training aids. Possibly external mounted camera to record the distance and position between the aircraft to keep the flying as precise as possible?
Tryin to fly around like that in tight formations isnt easy leh... they sure need all the help they can get. -
our RSAF guys have been very busy lately. yesterday saw Apache flying over my block, after some f-16s.
just now saw a c-130 doing runs. song song, can see so many planes, esp they flying at low level.
BTW, my location is serangoon, anyone got a better view of those guys? -
