3 F-16s doing circuit around PLAB yesterday until I go crazy, they were carrying what appears to be smoke canistors? Interestingly, everytime the planes come, the birds all hide in the bushes!

The more idiot-proof way would be the end. The F-16's exhaust pipe does not extend much beyond the tail compared to the F-5. Of course I prefer to identify by sound. The F-5 gives a high-pitch whistle before flying over you while the sound the F-16 is much louder and lower pitch. was at sentosa today, saw 3 Super Pumas flying around super low. think the pilots and crew were bio-ing all the bikini babes on the beach

I dun see any ECM pod leh. Only mounted are a centreline fuel tank at station5, 2 'stick' on station2 and 8 respectively. The 2 sticks are not ECM pod or what smoke canister. They are used to record flight data and aircraft performance. they only carry the ACMI pods on either stations 1 or 9. The "stick" as one forumer calls it on station 8 is a AIM-9 CATM (Captive Air Training Missile). It is the other "stick" on station 2 that is interesting.

I was lead 2 belive RSAF prefers bulit-in ECM -

Im taking about e ECM pod la, I also know RSAF carry ACMI pod on training mission. They r training aids else use them for wat
