Come to think of it, have seen before the video of N.Korean military training where they get a dog packed with explosives to run under a tank
yea..and it(bomb dogs) was quoted as the most useless weapon ever used in historyOriginally posted by tankee1981:Actually this method is being pioneered by the Soviets during WWII against the German Panzers. After the war, military dogs are heavily used in the Soviet Army, much more as compared to the NATO countries.
Besides the N Korean & Soviet Army of using dogs as some form of 'anti-tank' weapons, I read that the 1st Gulf War of 1979-1988, the Iranians (due to their religious fanatiicism or some may say desperation) convinced 'volunteer' youths to strap explosives to their body and charged under an Iraqi tank. Their sacrifice here ensures that the doors to an Islamic heaven will be 'opened' (in fact, all of them carried plastic keys with them).Originally posted by tankee1981:Actually this method is being pioneered by the Soviets during WWII against the German Panzers.
