RSNCorvette engaged 2drone simultaneously

well.. .the corvette barak was designed from the start (like the malaysian lekiu frigate seawolf system) to be capable of engaging up to 2 target simultaneously... so its no surprise to me... though it is still consider an "achievement"
i waiting to see the formidable conduct a simultaneous 24 target intercept with aster missile... that would be something of a real achievement. -

Our MCV has 2 fire-control radars n is so able 2 engage _4_ targets with Barak n _1_ with e 76MM with e optronic director simultaneously

If RSN really has the budget for a aircraft carrier I would rather they spend it on such live firing exercise.. at least give all MCVs a chance in live BARAK and HARPOON firing exercise... these are priceless experience for our navy guys.. -

South China Sea (June 8, 2006) - A BQM-74E aerial target launches from the flight deck of amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) during a missile exercise during the Singapore phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). The target simulated a threat for the Republic of Singapore Navy ship RSS Vengeance, which took down the drone with a Barak missile. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the U.S. and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces. i asked my ex CO why SG doesnt have carriers. He laughed and said, "if SG buys a carrier, we'll definitely spark an arms race in the region. Besides, if we were to have a carrier, i think the whole of the RSN also not enough to man it!" That's kinda telling...

But it might be a great war startegy, invest in real expensive weopon systems, start a arms race, and bankrupt the other country's economy.
