If RSN really has the budget for a aircraft carrier I would rather they spend it on such live firing exercise.. at least give all MCVs a chance in live BARAK and HARPOON firing exercise... these are priceless experience for our navy guys..

South China Sea (June 8, 2006) - A BQM-74E aerial target launches from the flight deck of amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) during a missile exercise during the Singapore phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). The target simulated a threat for the Republic of Singapore Navy ship RSS Vengeance, which took down the drone with a Barak missile. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the U.S. and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
