  faux means fake. looking at the pic, it just dun look real to me. that looks like the sort of wood they use for car interiors. who uses walnut for an assault rifle?

  i know what faux means...maybe it's the lighting that makes it look fake, or maybe it's an aftermarket grip.

  the only plausable reason i can think of is that its made in Israel, and that colour is an attempt at sand camoflague. but then, most of the gun is black anyways, its not really going to make a diff....

  the wood looks real to me, probably the owner sand it real good and finish it real well! thus you get the kind of "sissy" looking woof grain!
