Old ST Tech designed equipments

Lately, I visit the ST technologies webby and I notice something veri interesting. I notice that the advertisements for the LWSPH, FH-88, 81m stealth corvettes are gone. Does this means ST do not produce equipment of older design. For example, FH2000 is more advance that the FH88, thus they stop producing the FH88? Recently, at the aerospace show, they seems to have introduce 2 new types of corvettes namely a 85m and a 57m one, which seems to me to have stealth features influenced by the visby of Sweden , does this means ST have chosen smaller vessels to follow the Visby type of design rather than the La fayettes?

Don't know about the rest though. But if the navy's gonna be upgrading anything soon my bet will be the PVs. Our MCVs are old but I believe the PVs are even older. -
The only diff with the FH88 & FH2000 is the the 2000 has extra flick rammer operations, slightly longer barrel, slightly different recoil buffer system and its breech design. other than that, everything's the same.Originally posted by equlus84:Lately, I visit the ST technologies webby and I notice something veri interesting. Btw, i prefer repairing and servicing the FH-88s than the 2000s. Problematic system on the "advanced one".

The New Zealand chamber explosion is an awful sight, all the twisted bodies and metal deformations... The poor thing was the gunner and the loaders, their bodies suffered multiple fractures due to the explosion boom pressure... Will never forget that sight during the extraction of bodies...

The LWSPH is not the Pegasus but another product with the same concepts as the Pegasus and it is an earlier product compared to Pegasus. It is more bulky than the Pegasus if i am not wrong.

The MCVs are definitely older than the PVs. The 1st Fearless class PV is commissioned in 1996. The 1st Victory class MCV is commissioned in 1990.

u meant the fuze on the 155mm ERBB round?
From where did u get that info from? I think they came up with that reason to stop the finger pointing between the heavy armt techs and ammo techs.
Investigations from my side stated that it was the charge that is used to propel the round out of the barrel was not properly kept and had been exposed to extensive moisture. Thus some chem reaction took place in the charge, resulting in a far larger explosive gas buildup in the breech.
Well, thats what i was told la. might be right might be wrong. -

Well, believe it or not.. pegasus was already rolling around western part of singapore for few years before unveiling already.. haha
saw it once by chance @ LCK area rolling around the terrain months before unveiling. was doing topo training.... haha, imagine a rover of blur "hor lan-ed" cocksters & 1 uber hor lan officer stumbling upon the pegasus trial test area..
