Militarily strongest nation in South East Asia

I have to say that...Singapore armed forces in the region is the best... Best equip and most modernised. Especially our airforce,we have the strike abilites and capable of conducting Precison strike and night fighting capabilites. Thailand has a strong army but not so well-equipped and it's airforce sucks with many outdated F-16/A and F-5E... Spore is also has the most indigenous weapon(although we need a little bit help from Uncle Sam)in ASEAN.. We make our own IFV,Self -propel Artillery,howitzer,SAR-21,Matador,LSD,APV.... WE MAYBE SMALL AND A LITTLE RED DOT ON WORLD MAP BUT WE WILL STING U LIKE HELL IF ANY ASEAN COUNTRIES TOUCH US!!!

I seriously doubt the ability of our senior officers who more often than not, got promoted either because they're scholars or ass kissers. I've seen talented officers bypassed for promotion simply because they are either not acamedically qualified enough or not as good in pr skills as his peers. -
Seems that even the US is doing the same thing as SAF too.. Nowdays conventional warfare emphasizes heavily on technology.. Sadly, the emergence of non-conventional warfare - guerilla, in particular has somewhat rendered even the most advanced technology ineffective to some extent.
Prime examples of this is the US involvement in Vietnam, Iraq & Afghanistan.
In Vietnam, the stupid policies of the US military more than nullified the effectiveness of their high-tech toys.
Also, even with the advent of the Global Hawk & Predator UAVs armed with hellfire missiles, they still couldn't shaft one up OBL's a*se.
It'll be a big mistake to follow US in trying to use high tech gadgets make up for lack of gray matter. -
