The Lafayeete Stealth frigate

  I heard from my friend who is serving in the Navy said that the Lafayeete class France sold to Singapore is actually smaller than her cousins in the Taiwanese and the Saudi Arabian Navies, France sold the first frigates to Saudi Arabia, then to Taiwan. The length of her bow of Taiwanese is shorter than the Saudi Arabia and in term longer than the Singapore version, which this case the Taiwanese Lafayette is bigger than us! Anyway I prefer the Denmark's Thetis class frigates though, with her damn super-strong structure..

  They made other changes too. AFAIK, they replaced the original DCN 100mm naval gun with the OTO Melara 76mm, they replaced the Exocet SSM wiith the Harpoon, they replaced the Thales Crotale Naval CN2 SAM with Aster 15, etc.
  
  Some difference are mentioned at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Fayette_class_frigate which claims the Taiwanese variant is the least capable of the lot.

  Your friend is right ours is smaller but ours has better radar n is more heavily armed
