JSTARS for RSAF?

The JSTARS have similar functions like our E-2C Hawkeyes AEW&C aircraft but provides situation awareness for the ground battles instead of aerial ones. Its like a mobile flying HQ. It will prove to be extremely useful in any ground conflict which Singapore is involved with. A powerful force multliplier just like the Hawkeyes. USA will most probably not sell such sensitive and advanced systems to us so i think we will have to cooperate with other countries such as the Isarel for research and development. A smaller version of the JSTARS will suit us fine as we have much less area (South East Asia) to cover as compared to US operation areas. Comments?

would be good, but I feel that theSAF is still not yet integrated enough. quite difficult to tie in tanks and ground troops into the net if u are still using WWII equipment

I heard somewhere that the hawkeyes can actually pick up ground units moving in excess of 60km/h. Of course, they filter that off cos it actually causes a lot of clutter.

Heard tat SAF is intertested in Global hawk , an AEW version hmmm may not be impossible

It is possible that one of the 6 Gulfstream 5 jets are converted to a role similar to that of a mini-JSTARS because i don't see why we must required 6 Phalcon AEW&C aircraft to replace 4 older E-2C Hawkeyes.
