I had wanted to buy IRIAF decals (either in 1/72 or 1/48 scale) but somehow, it is always 'OUT-OF-STOCK' (in other websites) or not unavailable in the shops, now at least I know there's another option which I can explore.
As for me, I had a couple of undone models which I had accumulated over the years but right now I wanted to start on my 1/72 F-15I.
Problem now is I wanted to equip it with Israeli weapons accessories esp, Python IV (rather than the 'standard' Sidewinders etc) but there is no such kits available unless I customize these weapons...

I read the manual and for 1 plane , need to used at least 5 -7 colour
and got 1 colour is to colour 2 missle only , it will be a waste if i buy a bottle of paint just to colour 2 item only ba ? is there a much more smaller ones ?
Btw i 4get to buy sandpaper and paintbrush , ordinary art n craft paintbrush can work anot ?

Generally, i think it will be better to use hobby paint brishes. They are generally finer than those arts and craft paint brush. Of course don't compare those from arts friends. Some of them are super high quality. I am not exactly a hand brush painter, i only own one paint brush, that is the extra fine one, for painting instrument panels. As for paint, if you intend to do more models after this, it is ok to keep some paint bottles around. If not , you can try the humbrol series of enamal paints, small little cans, not much problem with hand painting over small surfaces. Just that you have to control the amount of paint and thinner used. Use very thinned paint.
Anyway, here is a website that gives a very good tutial on hand brushing. You may find it useful.

Shop around. There's more than one hobby store in Singapore and there are some that give discounts. Currently Hobby Art Gallery at Sunshine Plaza is giving every customer at least 10% (or was that 20%?) off accessories, including Paints.

For aircraft, I find it very difficult to do 'weathering'. And also must air brushed the color instead of hand brush the color. For tanks/IFV much easy to do the dirt/mud/rusty part becoz everyone served NS before so we all know where the weather occurs on a military vehs. 6 years didnt touch any modelling, my hand turns rusty liao.

dragon i think is from shanghai or hongkong. Saw their Tiger tank box. Quite impressed. Heard that it quite an okay kit. btw I dont quite get the DIY decal instruction ,anyway i was thinking if it possible to find a F-16 model and paint it into the RSAF type. of coz to get the picture of 1:72 logo also very hard -
Ok day 1, F-14 tamiya 1/32, F-5 Hasegawa 1/32 production starts
Because i became feverish, i didn't do much. So bear with me.
So this is the F-14 cockpit. Assembled and painted in flat gull grey.
Ok this kit is weird, the panel lines for the wings and cockpit is recessed while those on the fuselage is protruding. So to allow it to be uniform, i scribed all the protuding panel lines. Took me 1/2 a day.
Well, at the same time, i am helping another friend build his f-5. Assembled and painted with light gull grey too. I haven't done the detailing for the switches yet. So stay tuned. -
anyway, just bought this new toy for airbrushing. Say goodbye to toxic fumes!!!
