the trees are pre-made, and yes it can be DIY.Originally posted by CenturionMBT:i think i saw the one at specialist selling this kind of carpet grass like terrain.

Hi casshern, you might be talking about Central Hobby Plus which used to be at Centrepoint. Its now moved to Le Meridien Hotel's Shopping Centre, 2nd floor. Just one bus stop down from the old place.Originally posted by casshern:the terrain i think i got from one modelling shop from Robinsons Orchard, not the one at Specialist John little . quite a hard shop to find. and the last time i went i couldnt find it. dunno is i get lost or the shop close.
The Italeri 1/72 F-5A Freedom Fighter has the probe. IIRC it offers 2 versions but one is the correct probe for RSAF F-5s. You'll have to get the F-5A and rob the kit for the F-5E/S probe. You still can build a perfectly good F-5A (w/o the probe) after that.Originally posted by Black Aces:Any idea which brand of F-5 that carries the AAR probe?
Or must I customise & craft the AAR probe myself (either in 1/72 or 1/48 scale)?
Anyone can advise on what to use + how to craft the AAR probe?
Thank you very much.
Hi Viper52, thanks for the reply.Originally posted by Viper52:The Italeri 1/72 F-5A Freedom Fighter has the probe. IIRC it offers 2 versions but one is the correct probe for RSAF F-5s. In 1/48 I'm afraid theres no conversion, AFAIK.
from what i know, they use metal tubes and bend it to shape. After that they use polyester putty, or epoxy putty to form the head.Something like playing with plasticine.Originally posted by Black Aces:Hi Viper52, thanks for the reply.
But how do one craft/mould a 1/48 (or even 1/32) AAR probe? I have seen 1/48 (or is that 1/32?) scale RSAF F-5S with AAR and when I asked one of the sales team @ one of those hobby shops where they got that (AAR), he directed me to those White-coloured plastic (?) sticks and told me to mould/customise form it? How do one mould/customise from those White-coloured sticks?
just came back from there. The lady there was very nice. Had a very long chat with her.Originally posted by Viper52:Hi casshern, you might be talking about Central Hobby Plus which used to be at Centrepoint.
