Airbrush is basicly the same paint as what you are using now. However depending on different people they use different paints.
Water based acrylic paints: Requires you to spray primer or surfacer on the surface of the model before you spray the paint otherwise it won't bite on the model. Dun really like to use them.
Lacquer paints: Haven't really used them yet, but i heard that they require primer to be sprayed on the surface of your model before you start airbrushing. Advantages is that it has very fast curing rate.
Enamel paint: I have been using this paint all these while. Some people complain that it has a very slow curing rate. But to me it seems pretty ok. No problems with it. It bites well onto the plastic surface and it cures to form a very hard surface. Almost as hard as the plastic itself.
For all cases, they use the same kind of thinner as what you use for hand brushing. Water for acrylic based, lacquer based thinner for Mr hobby colour paints and enamal thinner for enamel paints. Sometimes i use turpentine as my thinner when i do enamal airbrushing. Effect looks more or less the same. -

for lion head roundels i have the 1/32 version in my computer now. Just a simple resize.
for the words i have the font for it.
Hmm maybe i should start selling customized decals.....

I believe the most important decal is the two lion , 2 REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE , numbers ? the 88129 thing above .

2 lion, RSAF and numbers shouldn't be a problem -

try arts friends both branches. Decal sheet is thicker than normal. Dun forget to spray a clearcoat over your image after printing. Otherwise the ink will smudge. I am using laser jet btw. here's one of my complete set, with terrain and a clear plastic cover.

For the above 2 models (there's actually 3 if u take a closer look
) i only did some linings with Gundam Marker, emphasing on shades and shadows. finished it up with a matt flat coating. no paint or such.
My current project since sept, a freaking 1/144 METEOR unit from gundam seed destiny. here's where i been till now since sept.
