RSN Launches the Last of its Stealth Frigates

The Republic of Singapore Navy's (RSN) sixth stealth frigate, RSS Supreme, was launched today by Dr Ivy Ng, wife of Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen, at the Singapore Technologies Marine shipyard. Minister Ng officiated at the launching ceremony.
The RSN's stealth frigates are equipped with advanced sensor and weapons systems, and have enhanced anti-air, anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare capabilities. The frigate is a key component of the third generation RSN, and will enhance the RSN's capability to undertake a wide spectrum of missions in the defence of Singapore and its vital sea lines of communications.
The launch of RSS Supreme, the fifth and last frigate to be built locally, marks another significant milestone in the frigate programme. In the next phase, RSS Supreme will undergo harbour and sea trials. As some of the integration testing and modifications of the sensor and weapons systems will be shore-based, there will be a significant reduction in the time taken and the cost of construction of the frigate. -

I was responding to Arjun... India recently took delivery of a FFG (nice looking stealthy ship) from russia.
That's the Talwar (Sword) class frigates. -

LOL! We made all our bottles plastic cos of those kids trying to use bottles as weapon by breaking them.

Anyway, there was this funny video I saw on TV once. The bottle didn't break after 3 tries so they got the lady VIP to hold the bottle & smash it against the ship (kinda like you smash it over someone's head). She lost her balance while swinging & not only did she miss the ship (don't ask me how) but she almost fell into the water too.
