  The HAL Dhruv (Sanskrit:"Pole Star") is a multi-role advanced helicopter made by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL). It is currently being supplied to the Indian Armed forces (Indian Coast Guard, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Army), a civilian variant is also available. It has also been exported to Israel, Chile and Nepal. Specialised military variants will eventually include ASW machines and helicopter gunships.

  I think this helicopter is good but prospect of being acquired by RSAF is not high as there is no immediate need for light helicopters.

  There are a lot of version of the same helicopter. Like Army version, Navy version which can be used for ASW. It can also be used by Coast Guard and can also be used by medical team to rescue injured soldiers. There is also a civilian version. I think you will be interested in the civilian version.

  RSAF got EC-120 meh? I thought training helis are Fennec 50 ??

  Good, but if you have confused ALH with a training helicopter, then let me clarify that the ALH is developed to perform many roles from air ambulance version to anti-tank role, Sub hunting, for special forces etc.
  
  Also there is a civilian version of the said helicopter.

  When was that news ?? How come our 'new' imports always seems to be old ...
