MY GOODNESS! I had though the clip had some footage of M'sian MiGs 'clashing' with RSAF's Vipers but I was wrong....BIG TIME. 2 minutes into the clip and I have to end it as it contains SO MANY ERRORS!
If you want to make a 'credible' clip, at least do your (the M'sian clip students) research (please don't just restrict your 'source' from ONLY the Mahathir Library). SO MANY LAUGHABLE POINTS!
If I were their English & Geography teacher, I would DEFINITELY
FAIL them!
Let me explain (from just 2 mins into the clip only:
a)
That 'alleged 'Spore Goon guy' in a verbal brawl with a m'sian girl at the 'BORDER'.
- When does Sin & M'sia share a land border (demarcated with a fence?) Or are they implying the fence at the Keppel Train station?
b)
The Causeway was blown up.
- The clip showed some 'Bridge' (READ:
Bridge, not some link) in flames and collapsing. The dream project by Mahathir was not shot down by either Badawi's govt or Sin but but their own students! Seems like the bridge already cursed (non other by ???)
before it was cancelled. Perhaps Badawi govt's saw this clip and decide to cancel it! Perhaps it is true that it 'reflects the people's moods and sentiments'! hahaha).
c)
The 'war' involving rocks raining at the 'war zone'.
- *CLAP* *CLAP* to the gungho reporter who 'braved' the fire at the war zone. Hello?? Are the students born on Mars (or Venus)? Do they think we are still living at the
STONE AGE?
- If THIS 'War' involves only STONES, then this 'war' looks damn phoney to me, boy! (Now I can understand why the European public during the late 1930s termed the war between the Nazis and her neighbours as 'The Phoeny War'! hahaha
d)
'Smuggling in the act' was overtly captured on tape?- You call that smuggling? People scooping water from the pool and pouring into a WHEELBARREL? & 'sin lady' dropping her water-bag at the bridge and crying aloud (into the camera) 'no water for her 'baby/children'. I had thought smuggling is supposed to be 'covert' and the smuggler will go all means to cover their actions and but here???

MNM 'live'- If war does broke out and became full-blown, do the students think the stations (esp peninsula M'sia's & Sin) will be still 'ON AIR'?
MY ADVICE TO THE STUDENTS: If you want to make a convincing clip, at least make the shots more convincing! For example, if you want to make how 'DESPERATE S'poreans is for water', DON'T make clips showing 'S'poreans scooping water (& drinking) from the pool and smuggling them in bags, YOU SHOULD have clips where the actors/actresses are half-submerged in heavily-polluted murky pools containing
decomposing animal carcasses, human faeces, soiled sanitary pads and used condoms etc and have them repeat the acts there (scooping these soiled waters and even DRINKING from it). THEN, definitely your clips will look more convincing as it will NOW show how 'DESPERATE' S'poreans are for 'your M'sian water and instead are NOW drinking unclean water!
