The irony is that i can kill with a bow and arrow, but not with an airsoft gun. =DOriginally posted by tvdog:There's no irony.
You can walk into a bank with a concealed airsoft and then attempt to hold up the bank - and you may even succeed if you have a lot of nerve. Or even rob a cabdriver, or relieve someone of their wallet in some dark alley.
But I don't see how you can walk around with a concealed bow and arrows : )
And unfortunately, people attempting to rob banks with airsoft continues to happen everywhere in the world.
Or if the cops see you with a bow and arrow they might persuade you to surrender.
But if you produce something that look convincingly like a firearm, you might end up shot and causing the police a lot of trouble.

Gun-related hobbies are something I will embrace when I move abroad in the future.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Holy buckets! You could get a decent-quality real handgun for that amount of money here in the US.

That's pretty neat! From the pictures alone, it's difficult to differentiate your gun from the real thing.Originally posted by tvdog:This beast weighs about 3.5kg with battery and magazine. Metal is used where it should be metal on a real weapon.
On this make - no. The charging handle can ony be pulled halfway and the dust cover does not open when the handle is pulled.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:That's pretty neat! From the pictures alone, it's difficult to differentiate your gun from the real thing.
Just curious: does the charging handle actually operate?
Thanks...Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Sweet-looking piece of hardware you have there, tvdog!
Was the red dot sight imported or purchased locally? You mentioned the price in US dollars, so I'm assuming the former. From what I can see in your picture, it appears the red dot sight co-witnesses with the iron sights, right?
