  it can walk.
  
  the creator isn't an otaku, he just wanted to try building a life size robot. the feet are electronically powered hydraulic shafts. the frame is made of steel and the rest of the body is made from strengthened plastic and moulded fibre. this took 10 years, completed shortly before the last millenium.
