So what exactly is its current status? I recall the ship was laden with quite a few vehicles but can't make out what because of the distance and the lack of binoculars at that point in time.

Glenn Braveheart/RSS Preserverance has been sold by the RSN to Glenn Marine, a "contractor" after her decomissioning from the RSN after the arrival of the Endurance-class LST/LSDs.

Brahmos is operational with the Indian navy's only warship INS Rajput (which also acted as a trial platform to test the Brahmos) and the remaining ships will be armed with it. Also the next class of destroyers and frigates currently under construction in India and Russia will be armed with the brahmos in Vertical launch mode. The army version trail in the thar desert was a success and it is said that within a year the serial production of the army missile is going to begin. The air-launched version is currently under development and it will take atleast two years before induction into the Indian Air Force.

It is being used as a floating barrier for the moored USN ships. Barrier against speedboats with explosives. The sentries just have to monitor the gaps rather than the whole horizon.Originally posted by Obersturmfuhrer:After so long?
