can the pilot n co pilot take control of the heli?

In the longbow or any other AH-64, the pilot sits behind the gunner.
Both seats have control over the chopper.
However, the pilot is the one flying (except emergency) as the gunner mans the radar system and the weaponry (30mm chain guy is under control of pilot)

ALL helicopters have dual controls. it can be decided between both pilots who is to fly the helicopter.
for attack helicopters, the roles of pilot & cpg are designated so due to the design of the individual stations in the c o c kpit -
