the saudis made a lot of money from recent oil prices dats why can afford to buy planes at USD70million apiece.

We should have gotten the Eurofighter.
Anyway, what does this mean for the logistics side of the Royal Saudi Air Force? From what I can see, they already have several different types of aircraft:

It sure won't be easy to supply and maintain all these different aircraft. Maybe they'll retire their existing F-5s to make way for the Eurofighters? -

I heard that they have a lot of issues with their tornados....
they are weird.. they operate TWO air defense fighters ADVs and F15Cs and two deep strike fighters F15S and IDS from the same genre and both expensive twin engined types...
I guess if u r a oil giant, you will be like that also.
Their F5s are only used for training i think. -
i doubt they considered their logistics before buying the eurofighter..

The UAE recently acquired F-16 Block 60s, Mirage 2000s, SA-19 SAMs, and other arms from all over the world.
Kuwait bought Chinese PLZ-45 SPHs, Warrior IFVs, M1A2 MBTs, among a host of others.
Their logistics and technicans must have a terrible time maintaining these weapons...

Not unless they are planning to use all these spanking new equipment to "wipe" Israel off the face of the earth. Hence, they'll probably lose all of their fighters in the first few days of the war, and no need to worry about logistics.

Saudi Arabia under the House of Saud, Kuwait and UAE will probably be more willing to knock the teeth off any nation that tries to wipe Israel out and place their prosperity at stake.
You have a Wahabbi nation with two secular-leaning nations, and they clearly will not fight alongside Shi'ite Iran.
