  Huh? I've never seen wing tip light trails on F-15s in afterburners? Which model? Strike Eagle?

  The only light that i thot can be seen is the afterburner itself and the anti-collision lights.

  hmm....cant find anything on the light trails...but found lots about contrails(something like streaks of white smoke, due to condensation of water vapours)....here's a site showing a pic of F-15's contrails>>>http://www.s-t.com/daily/10-97/10-15-97/a05wn088.htm
  
  The documentary on discovery channel i'm refering to(Ultimates) will be shown on that channel on Xmas @ 5pm.

  any fighter jets that flying speed of sound and tight turns will have trailing wing tips........

  those are wingtip vortices, created at high AOA flight

  Besides most modern wing designs are able reduce trailing vortices right?
