I agree, i went to malaysia just recently and at the tuas checkpoin (malaysian side) the immigration officer actually demanded 50 Rm from my sis just because he claimed that her photo doesn't match with the passport. And there is no scanners or whatsoever that their immigration checkpoints, my luggage wasn't checked at all. Those two customs person was happily chatting to each other at the part where they suppose to inspect baggage. Only randomly stopping one or two for spot check. -
If the army camps in Malaysia are so easily raided by thieves, it is no wonder there are so many criminals toting assault rifles around the country.

Assuming they stole it for robbery purposes
It will be much more disastrous.In malaysia , they are able to create road blocks even after a few hours when the weapons are stolen because the area is huge and most likely they will use it in KL.
In SG , once stolen , it will be used for armed robbery already because in less then a time frame of 1/2 hour , you would be able to reach a major banking area in CBD. -
If it happens, none of us will probably know about it. Our army is very image conscious.
