some ppl like reservist to escape from work or a unhappy family life or simply escape the reality of being a 30 something career man with responsibilities.
They gamble chat loudly in the bunk all the way past midnite, then come nights off one whole group go geylang call chicken together, sometime you can even spot them just by looking at the shoes they wear -

sometimes you run into reservists at pasir laba during exercise .... or talk to them during CPX .... they all seemed pretty happy to be back ... especially those support arms units, which are much closer knit i think ..... since they are usually kept together through-out their service and reservists ....
