I would like to inform you all about a very famous Singaporean past time. Almost all Singaporeans indulge in this, especially guys who are in the armed force, or was in the armed forces. Locally, we term it, "TALKING C0CK."
We are so good at it, that sometimes we don't really know ourselves, when we are seriously commenting on a subject or just "TALKING C0CK."
Therefore I conclude on your behalf, that surveying this forum "Military Nuts" is really a waste of your time, which can be spent on doing more productive stuff.... like "TALKING C0CK." -

No one even knows the official name of Malaysia's Intelligence service.......that's how good they are.........
(note: they re not "Special Branch"-this one is internal security, not external) -
Thats only 1 way of explaining it. That Malaysian Intelligence services are so silent and effective that no one even knows their name.
The other is, they haven't really been doing much that makes their existence worth taking notice of by any foreign intelligence.

if MM Lee knows that there is a spy in PAP..aint it prove that they are not that very effective?

Spies are not planted. They are recruited.
To recruit a spy, is easy. U either compromise him, (eg catching him having sex with an underage kid), bribe him with money, or coerce him.
But handling the spy so that the operation is not discovered, is a work of art. And of course, not to mention keeping the spy happy. So it also depends how good the handler is at his field craft.
IF a spy was to be discovered in PAP, then i guess there has been a c0ck up on the side of the spy agency. Most of the time, through leaks or spies in the spy agency itself.
