Taiwan to purchase up to 72 AH-64D Apache helicopter

Taiwan currently operates the AH-1W,
they had been evaluating the AH-1Z & AH-64D
as per report, Taiwan intend to purchase 30 pieces of Apache next year, and intend to opertaes up to 72 pieces. -
That is a quite lot of PRC tank-killers! I wonder if they will train in the US like what the RSAF Apaches have been doing?

a "rumour" flying around in chinese cyberspace right now says that the PLAAF are now in possession of an F-16A block 20 fighter .... courtesy of a Taiwanese pilot who defected with his aircraft ...

Sigh, u guys only talking at they using AH-64 for anti-tank purpose, actually, Taiwan uses those AH64 or AH-1Z/W or so for anti-landing purpose

In Taiwan,Fire power of kidnappers stronger than police
Kidnappers got rifle P90 ,M11 machine gun ? and a hand gun;3 grenades ? & AR 15 and another rifle and 1 hand gun,all full loaded.
It would be more interesting for police STAR or SOF in Taiwan. -

China have plans to dominate the South China sea as seen from its claims of the entire Spratly Islands, so knowing how a F-16 works first-hand is an added advantage.
