  On closed hatches and urban warfare, the endless dilemma, situational awareness or protection.
  
  That transparent small arms fire resistant shield seems like a good balance. But it is damn tempting to fire at the person in the turrent if you can see him. I wonder how much that shield can afford protection in a sustained conflict. Some closed hatch overhead weapons cannot be avoided.
  
  Black Hawk Down has an indelible impression on me. Whenever I think of urban warfare, I think of that awesome film.

  Last time a PC tried to take down my bx by chionging up the vehicle, forcing open the hatch and lob in a thunderflash. I rewarded him with a 25mm blank bang next to his ears.

  That PC should have known better. There is confirmed a breach of TSR when he lob the thunderflash into the BX with people in such a confined area. Similarly when the gunner fire off the blank he also at fault but who can blame him for doing so in the face of a Rambo-wannabe?

  Sure or not? Even in ATEC people not so crazy right? To run up to a BX and climb on top of it?? In training? I would think the marshalls would have called it off if it was ATEC. Definite breach of TSR I woul think.
