Pressing of button

The term 'button pressed' is used to describe when Singapore's security is threatened directly and there will be a military response by the SAF. What are the sequence of events which will follow when such an order is being given?

We are all just little components in the big picture that forms the national defence policy. When that "button" is pushed, we will be given instructions on what to do next as part of the mobilization process.
Those people who know the bigger picture, as well as those who know the entire picture, are not going to tell you what they know.
I am just a bit part player, but I'm not telling you where I'm going when the button is pushed either.

Mebbe the button is encased in a glass panel and has a warning sticker over it, "In case of Crisis/Panic,break glass and press button thrice"

Nononono, no glass. Basically its a button and you'll have to type in the morse code SOS in order to activate.

Button has been pressed since 09.08.1965.
If not,WHY
there is always a E2C flying every hour ,
a STANDBY force(part of the Action Group?) ,possibly,with live rounds loaded,
a couple of satellites watching,
Civil Defense public announce system testing every 1 st day ,
rationing of food and fuel system tested,
CD shelters all over Sg,may be in your sweet home, in case u are recalled and reduce ur worry for loved one ..........

Speaking about rationing...there is already quite some time without any food/water/fuel rationing exercises. Does this means that we have a huge stockpile of food,water and fuel and that rationing exercises are no longer necessary? Or is it that SCDF is getting complacent? Don't get me wrong though, i am not very enthusiastic about any of the above. Cheers

Aiy, i used to hear the lao warrants talk about pushing the button all the time. Always keep bugging us that we should be alert, and discharge our duties and work with 100% effort, so that when the button is pushed we will be ready... I doubt anybody will be 100% ready when the button is pushed. SURE got cockups one.

Press teh button n the whole island disintegrates blowing itself up..like a big nuke wiping southeast asia off the map. Thats if they press the wrong button... the right one is beside it.. slightly smaller.. n rounder...

janes defense weekly reported few years age that the lights of Sg highways
can be switch off by pressing few buttons.
With the GPS, on or off doesnt matter lah. -
