What is the documentary about? Soviet Jet Fighters? That would be interesting.

For those familiar, its a flim on preparation and participation in Red Flag. As it is in Omni Threater..of cos u would feel as though u are piloting a F15 alongside Stratton -

Excellant show. Watch out for cameos but all the stealth fighter/bombers that will appear early on. Notice that a Singapore detachment also appears on the monitoring screen on the control AWAC.

Went with a friend..not bad..Scenes are short..only 45 min though
But felt as if you are in a cockpit in some scenes..one spectcular scene is in the A10s raining rockets on a simulated convoy

I read a review somewhere that said the film is not completely realistic. After watching the film, I concur.
For instance, they showed RAF Harriers in one scene and RN Sea Harriers in another, when they both didn't go to the same exercise.
Some of the fight scenes showed them flying over green fields with meandering rivers. Nevada isn't that green.
The close-up bomb explosion scenes also seemed like staged pyrotechnics, rather than actual ordnance exploding. The bombs are so accurate? Hit the tank but just missed the camera just beside the tank?
The internal E3 Awacs scenes also doesn't seem real, looks like a studio.
But overall an eye opening film, albeit too short. -
The credits are start of show will give a good indication of what is featured. "Boeing" being the main sponser naturally wanted to 'red flag' its products, most if not all Boeing products are shown.
F-15, A-10, Blackhawk, C-17, even the B-1 were mentioned.
The views of targets being 'blown up' as previous posts notes are more pyrotechnic shows than an indication of strikes from above.
A better move according to someone who has seen other such shows is the US aerospace "Come fly with me" giving a better treatment of the 'joys of flying' rather than a brass drum beating of US military hardware.
