  Two U.S. Marines were killed in Iraq when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb, the military said on Tuesday, pushing the total U.S. military death toll since the 2003 invasion to 1,999.

  The Americans may have all kinds of different excuse/reasons why they are in Iraq.
  
  But to Iraqis and some other Arabs, they are officially a foreign invading army and killing as many Americans as possible seems like the only decent thing to do.
  
  It's not gonna stop - period.
  
  I'm sometimes surprised how a simple fact like this can escape the Americans. They always go in without a clue as to how/when they should get out.

  hahah well i think they shld issue kevlars or flak jackets to them... cause they are like not protected and some are too lazy to wear them i think its good to make it a standard issue...

  well, they got saddam out, shouldn't they just pull out? it might seem selfish and all, but it would be better for everyone. well, of course, then they'd have no control over who the next government of iraq may be...
