Some question bout F-15's

  Theres once where they land a C130 on a carrier.

  Yeah, there were plans to land a modified C-130 near a football field during the Iran hostage crisis. Following that, it would take off from the football field using rocket assisted take off, and land on a carrier.
  
  It never happened. The C-130 got wrecked in a test flight.

  The C130 actually landed without any assistance from hooks and took off without catapults.

  It was after that series of test then they chose the Greyhound to fufil the role.
