Actually, there's a tiny transparent pill bottle propping up the pistol, out of sight of the camera. Being transparent, the bottle doesn't cast a shadow under the pistol. -

As far as reproductions go, that P228 looks very realistic. Is it officially licensed by SIGARMS? The reason I ask is that no attempt was made to hide or alter the logo on the slide. In the UK, there's a open air market I go to and I have bought pellet firing , spring action guns , which are nice (but cheap) replicas of the real thing.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Congratulations!

I bought them for my kids. But have also played with them. I had the following:-
1) Colt Browning
2) Walther PPK
3) Remington Wingmaster ( shotgun)
I have used them to shoot at paper targets and they actually are quite powerful at about 20 feet. They are spring action, the BB pellet is propelled by a massive spring, and my estimate of the pound-force is about 20 to 40 pounds. Maybe powerful enough to go hunting small birds in the fields next to my house.
These spring loaded guns costs between £2 to £ 8 (for the shotgun). -
Well,make sure u and ur kids have proper eye protection when playing that.As there may be rebounds and can take out ur eye!

Airsoft pellets aren't the only projectiles that have the potential to ricochet back at the shooter--live ammo can do that too. A few years ago, at the local indoor pistol range, a lady in the next booth aimed her 22LR pistol a little high and hit the target hanger. The projectile fragmented, and the small chunk of it came back and hit me in the right shoulder. Fortunately, the fragment had lost most of its energy and didn't penetrate skin. Then a couple of weeks ago, we were at our club's outdoor range; I was shooting, when my friend, who was standing beside me, said, "Ouch!" and looked at his foot. Apparently, one of the 45ACP projectiles I was shooting had bounced back and hit his foot. Fortunately again, the projectile had lost most of its energy and didn't do any harm.
That's why it's a good idea to always wear safety glasses when shooting any kind of gun. -

Well...Five-seveN don't fire the caseless ammo, that the G11...Five-seveN fires the same 5.7mm ammo as the FN P90.
