Thanks! That image is a lot clearer.Originally posted by HENG@:here u go.
just curious, how didcha get the pistol to look like its sort of floating above the table with only the muzzle n the handgrip touching the table? it doesn't look like u've got anything propping it up under it.Actually, there's a tiny transparent pill bottle propping up the pistol, out of sight of the camera. Being transparent, the bottle doesn't cast a shadow under the pistol.
ah thats clever! will see if i've got any small pill bottles i could use. so wotcha think of the P228's details?Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Actually, there's a tiny transparent pill bottle propping up the pistol, out of sight of the camera. As far as reproductions go, that P228 looks very realistic. Is it officially licensed by SIGARMS? The reason I ask is that no attempt was made to hide or alter the logo on the slide. Do you like the way it shoots?Originally posted by HENG@:ah thats clever! will see if i've got any small pill bottles i could use. so wotcha think of the P228's details?

I got the heavy model one so its weight feels like the real McCoy too.

Here's an image of my Springfield Armory XD-40 Tactical that I took a few nights ago. The image will be featured in a webzine, being put together by a fellow forumite at www.xdtalk.com, that chronicles the history of the XD line of pistols in the US.
Yes, the pill bottle is underneath the pistol, propping it up![/b]

In the UK, there's a open air market I go to and I have bought pellet firing , spring action guns , which are nice (but cheap) replicas of the real thing.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Congratulations!
Who's the manufacturer of the airgun P228? How are the prices in general of airguns in the UK?
That is good advice that anyone engaged in the shooting sports should heed!Originally posted by SpecOps87:Well,make sure u and ur kids have proper eye protection when playing that.As there may be rebounds and can take out ur eye!

cool! where is this? which city? I might go visit. Anyways im getting guns with the HOP-Up system.Originally posted by specfore:In the UK, there's a open air market I go to and I have bought pellet firing , spring action guns , which are nice (but cheap) replicas of the real thing.
I bought them for my kids. But have also played with them. I had the following:-
1) Colt Browning
2) Walther PPK
3) Remington Wingmaster ( shotgun)
I have used them to shoot at paper targets and they actually are quite powerful at about 20 feet. They are spring action, the BB pellet is propelled by a massive spring, and my estimate of the pound-force is about 20 to 40 pounds. Maybe powerful enough to go hunting small birds in the fields next to my house.
These spring loaded guns costs between £2 to £ 8 (for the shotgun).
hmm i see. right now im sticking to the French brands tho, because im in Europe and the Jap imports are more expensive.Originally posted by eugtay:Think tokyo marui makes them, goto www.redwolfairsoft.com
