Note! the GE F110 engine is developed as an alternate a/c engine to the PW F100 from a USAF request to reduce dependence on PW as a engine supplier.... basically to bring cost down...
So the F110 engine to built to be interchangable..... It CAN be done...
But with greater thrust... whether F110 or F100, a large intake nozzle/design might be requried....
