  If i was an opfor pilot, I'd double target the F-15E with a pair of missiles. And not just one of those puny dogfight missiles, but pair of AA-10Cs or AA-12s just to be sure. Make sure it stays dead.
  
  Can imagine wad kinda trim corrections and rudder the pilot has to make in order to maintain level flight with a wing gone? I'd probably throttle the missing wing side's engine higher than the the side with a wing. Still one heck of a ride.

  I'm not sure you can do that on a fighter aircraft. Especially since it only has 1 throttle stick

  I believe most twin engine aircraft actually have two throttles fused into 1. U can push both together as one, or u can push 1 higher than the other... tho rarely done.
  
  The 747 has essentially 4 throttles, fused into one. But u still can push each engine on its own.
